ZYT Joins Forces at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 to Drive Intelligent Commercial Heavy Trucks Global
PR Newswire
HANNOVER, Germany, Sept. 15, 2026
HANNOVER, Germany, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — From September 15–20, 2026, IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 is taking place at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Germany. As one of the world’s largest and longest-running trade shows dedicated to commercial vehicles, this year’s event has drawn broad attention from across the global commercial vehicle industry chain. During the show, ZYT appeared alongside core commercial vehicle partners including FAW Jiefang and Sinotruk, jointly advancing the globalization of driving-assistance capabilities for commercial vehicles. This continues the commitment ZYT made at the opening ceremony of its European headquarters — to empower commercial vehicles worldwide through intelligent technology.
ZYT’s Intelligent Driving-Assistance System for Commercial Heavy Trucks Debuts at the FAW Jiefang Booth
At this year’s IAA TRANSPORTATION, on the joint booth shared by ZYT and FAW Jiefang, ZYT’s intelligent driving-assistance system for commercial heavy trucks — installed on one of FAW Jiefang’s key models — made its European debut, showcasing core capabilities across sensing hardware, domain controllers, and software algorithms. The system is built on ZYT’s proprietary end-to-end commercial heavy truck model, enabling driving assistance, highway NOA, and active safety functions across urban roads, urban expressways, and highway scenarios.
Since ZYT and China FAW signed a strategic cooperation agreement on intelligent driving in 2024, the partnership has continued to advance from product R&D toward mass-production deployment. At the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026, the two companies announced plans to develop multiple highway NOA products for heavy truck models, built on ZYT’s JIMU 2.0 system and High-Perception model. The two sides have since reached a designated-supplier agreement on key models, continuing to push commercial heavy truck driving-assistance technology from development toward large-scale deployment. This joint appearance at IAA TRANSPORTATION marks the first time the results of this deep collaboration have been showcased together to an international audience, further reflecting ZYT’s ongoing efforts, together with its commercial vehicle partners, to advance globalization.

Integrated Hardware-Software Solutions for Commercial Vehicle Intelligent Driving, with a Long-Term Focus on Mobility Physical AI
As intelligent driving technologies continue to advance across the commercial vehicle sector, ZYT is drawing on its full-stack, self-developed technology system to build an integrated hardware-software driving-assistance solution for commercial heavy trucks. Centered on ZYT’s proprietary JIMU 2.0 system and combined with multi-sensor perception and a high-performance computing platform, the solution delivers full-chain capability from environmental perception through to decision-making and control.
To address the characteristics of commercial heavy trucks — their large size, long braking distances, and significant load variation — ZYT pre-trains its models on massive volumes of experienced-driver data, then fine-tunes them with over 1,000 hours of real-world heavy truck driving data, enabling the end-to-end model to better adapt to heavy truck driving characteristics. The solution covers highways, urban expressways, and designated urban roads, and does not rely on HD maps.
The underlying strength of ZYT’s commercial heavy truck solution lies in its continuously evolving Multimodal Foundation Model (MFM). By continuously advancing its capabilities for understanding, cognition, decision-making, and action in the physical world, ZYT is exploring the model’s ability to transfer across platforms and scenarios — laying the foundation for expansion into commercial heavy trucks, unmanned logistics vehicles, embodied intelligence, and other Mobility Physical AI scenarios.

Partnering with Leading Brands Across Categories, ZYT Continues to Expand Its Commercial Vehicle Business
Commercial vehicles have long been one of ZYT’s key strategic business segments. Focusing on intelligent driving for commercial vehicles, ZYT has established partnerships with numerous leading brands, with a partner network spanning commercial heavy trucks, buses, unmanned logistics vehicles, Robotaxi, and embodied intelligence.
In the commercial heavy truck segment specifically, ZYT has partnered with seven leading brands including FAW Jiefang and Sinotruk, achieving full coverage of China’s top six commercial heavy truck brands. At the same time, ZYT is accelerating the global expansion of its commercial vehicle driving-assistance capabilities: on May 27, 2026, at the opening ceremony of its European headquarters, ZYT announced a partnership with Sinotruk on a European commercial vehicle intelligent driving-assistance project. ZYT is responsible for the full-stack solution — covering active safety, driving assistance, and highway NOA — drawing on its local European team, data center, and road-testing infrastructure to bring the technology to market, further improving driving safety and efficiency for commercial vehicles, easing driver workload, and helping reduce transport operating costs while improving efficiency.
In the Robotaxi segment, through deep collaboration with leading ecosystem partners, ZYT is actively advancing the large-scale deployment of L4 autonomous driving systems. As its technology capabilities extend from a single vehicle category to a broader range of commercial vehicle scenarios, ZYT’s commercial vehicle business continues to grow.

From China’s Roads to Global Standards: ZYT Accelerates the Global Scale-Up of Commercial Vehicle Intelligent Driving
For the global market, ZYT continues to strengthen its R&D and compliance capabilities in alignment with the international automotive industry system. In 2025, the IQ. Pilot assisted-driving system, jointly developed by ZYT and Volkswagen, passed an A-SPICE CL2 audit under the Volkswagen system, making ZYT the first supplier in China to simultaneously pass joint audits from the Volkswagen Group, FAW-Volkswagen, and SAIC Volkswagen — laying the groundwork for its intelligent driving technology to go global.
Guided by its “In Europe, For Europe” strategy, ZYT is accelerating the overseas expansion of its commercial vehicle intelligent driving technology, deepening its collaboration with ecosystem partners such as FAW Jiefang and Sinotruk, and driving mature technologies from project nomination and road validation toward large-scale commercial deployment.
Looking ahead, ZYT will continue to pursue its brand mission of “Safe and Effortless Mobility for All,” using its global technology and service capabilities to help more Chinese commercial vehicle companies expand overseas and bring intelligent driving technology to more commercial vehicle users worldwide.
