IML Security Rebrands as Summit Access & Security LLC, Reflecting 30 Years of Growth Across the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic

New brand reflects the company’s evolution into a full-service provider of automated doors, access control and physical security solutions

The new name better describes the company today, which has grown from a local locksmith into a premiere provider of automated doors, access control and physical security solutions throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Founded more than 30 years ago as Island Master Locksmith, the company grew into IML Security as its services expanded beyond traditional locksmithing into door maintenance, access control, vault and safe systems, drive-up banking equipment, storefront glass, cash handling systems and multi-facility security preventative maintenance. Today, the company supports thousands of customer locations, including major financial institutions, with a team of more than 50 technicians and staff working from Maine to Virginia.
