HEXA Coworking & Event Center, the 42,000-square-foot flexible workspace and event venue in the heart of Richardson’s Innovation District, today announced that four commercial Level 2 EV charging stations are now live on its campus at 2100 N. Greenville Ave. The stations, energized on May 5, 2026, extend HEXA’s sustainability commitments — already anchored by a solar-equipped facility — and address a fast-growing need among the 89 member companies, event attendees, and visitors who pass through the building each week.
The four-station deployment uses PrimeCom PCT-CO-80A-S-J1-4G commercial Level 2 chargers — 277 V at 80 A, roughly 22 kW per station — with SAE J1772 connectors (Compatible with virtually all EVs. Tesla drivers can charge using their own J1772 adapter, and live session management through the ChargeLab app. Station #3 is configured for universal EV compatibility via an integrated buck/boost autotransformer that delivers ~256 V — keeping a wider range of consumer EVs (including several Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, and Ford models) from derating at sustained 277 V input. Two ADA-accessible parking spaces are located between Stations #2 and #3, sharing a striped access aisle and curb ramp, so any of the four chargers can serve an accessible user.

Pricing built for a coworking community
HEXA designed its rate structure to reward members while keeping the stations open to guests, event attendees, and the broader Richardson business community:

Charging stalls are reserved for active charging only, with the idle fee designed to keep all four stations in steady rotation throughout the workday and across HEXA’s busy event schedule. The ChargeLab app sends a push notification when a vehicle is finished charging, so drivers can move promptly and avoid idle fees.
