Road Angel Towing marks National Absurdity Day by offering Aubrey drivers free roadside safety consults to keep wild breakdown stories to a minimum.
Aubrey, TX (PRUnderground) November 6th, 2026
National Absurdity Day on November 20 celebrates all things ridiculous, and few people have seen more ridiculous roadside moments than a tow truck driver. Keys locked in a running car. A minivan out of gas with the gas can in the trunk, also empty. A spare tire that turned out to be flat since 2019. Road Angel Towing and Roadside Service has seen it all, and this year the Aubrey towing company is celebrating the day by helping local drivers avoid becoming the next great story.
Road Angel is offering free roadside safety consults to Aubrey-area drivers. During the consult, the team will go over the most common (and most preventable) causes of breakdowns, including weak batteries, worn or underinflated tires, low fluids, and missing emergency supplies, and help drivers build a simple checklist they can run before long drives or holiday trips.
“Honestly, the most absurd calls we get are the ones that could’ve been prevented with two minutes of checking,” said Jimmy, owner of Road Angel Towing and Roadside Service. “We love a good story as much as anybody, but we’d rather hear about your car running great than get the call that it isn’t. If you do end up stuck, though, we’ll get there and we won’t judge. Much.”
Free consults are available November 20 through November 30 by phone or in person, with no purchase required. The offer is open to all drivers in Aubrey and surrounding communities. To schedule a free consult, call Road Angel Towing and Roadside Service at (972) 301-7709 or visit https://towing-roadside-assistance-roadangel.com/towing-service-aubrey. Save the number now, just in case today gets a little too absurd.
